Influencer Publisher
Privacy policy
Effective date: October 12, 2026
Influencer Publisher is a personal tool operated by Jeff to publish his approved What Comes Next with Jeff videos and verify them on his own accounts. This policy covers the tool and this website, whatcomesnextwithjeff.com.
Google and YouTube data
The tool requests these Google OAuth permissions:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload— upload Jeff’s approved videos and accompanying metadata to his own channel.https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.readonly— read channel identity and video information to confirm the correct account and check publication.
The tool reads channel ID and name, video IDs, titles, descriptions, visibility and upload/processing status, and available synthetic-media disclosure information. It sends approved video files, titles, descriptions and publication settings to YouTube. It does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive or contacts.
How the information is used
Google data is used only to upload to and read Jeff’s own YouTube channel, verify publication, and recover interrupted uploads without creating duplicates. The tool is not a public account-connection service. Visitors cannot connect their accounts here.
Storage and security
OAuth access and refresh tokens are stored locally on the owner’s Mac in .youtube-publishing/, with credential files restricted to the owner’s operating-system account (file mode 0600). Tokens are sent to Google only as needed to authorize API requests and renew access; they are not published on this website or sent to other service providers.
Approved media, posting text and publication records are kept locally so Jeff can review results and avoid duplicate uploads. Records may include video IDs, links and status information. These files are retained while needed to operate and document the series; Jeff can delete them locally when no longer needed. Revoking access does not automatically erase local records or previously published videos.
Facebook and Instagram
The Meta clients use separate locally configured credentials to confirm Jeff’s account identity, upload approved video and caption content, and read publication status and links. Instagram uploads may use a temporary copy in a private, designated object-storage bucket and a time-limited download link for Meta. The copy is removed after verified publication; the bucket also has a two-day expiry rule. Google OAuth tokens are not provided to Meta or that storage service.
Sharing and Limited Use
Google user data is not sold, shared with advertisers or data brokers, used for ad targeting, or used to train AI models. The tool does not transfer Google account data to Meta. Owner-approved content is delivered to the platform selected for publication; publicly posted content is available according to that platform’s visibility settings. Jeff and people he authorizes to operate the tool may review local publication records for that purpose.
Influencer Publisher’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Website visits
This static website has no sign-in, forms, JavaScript, advertising trackers or analytics added by the app. The hosting provider may process routine request information, such as IP addresses and browser information, to serve and secure the site. Social links take you to other platforms, whose privacy policies apply there.
Revoke access or delete data
To revoke Google access, visit your Google Account connections, select Influencer Publisher and remove its access. The tool will need fresh consent before connecting again. To remove local app data, the owner can delete its saved credentials and publication records from the Mac. Removing local data does not delete videos from YouTube; manage published videos through the channel.
Contact and changes
For privacy questions or a data-removal request, email jeff@whatcomesnextwithjeff.com. Changes to data access or use will be reflected in this policy before that new use begins; renewed consent will be requested where required.
